Name: Oak
Nicknames: Oakley, Little Dude
Age or DOB: 4 Months (as of 9/4/2020)
Activity Level: PUPPY! I have that puppy energy, but I also can be super chill. I love to cuddle both my humans and foster sister dogs.
Things I do in my free time: I LOVE to play chase with my foster sisters and chew my toys. My mom calls me a stick monster because I love “helping” her pick up all the sticks in the yard. When I get tired, I am really good at cuddling my foster family both humans and pups.
Things I know: I am pretty good at going potty outside. I am Rockstar in my kennel and eat all my meals in there. I even trained my foster mom to give me a treat when I go in it outside of mealtime. I know how to sit. I also LOVE food and treats and am really good at being gentle when taking them from my foster family.
Things I am learning: Mom says that this time of year is tough for puppies as my foster home has tons of acorns in the back yard and I think they are tasty, but mom says I can’t eat them. So, she tells me we are working hard on not eating the acorns. I am also learning that not all dogs (even my foster sisters) want to play with my ALL the time, so I need to learn when they tell me they have had enough. I just really love to play.
Kids: Yes, please! I love to run and play with them.
Dogs: YES! I love playing chase! I even met a small dog and we did great together.
Cats: Not sure, but I have met a pet rabbit and they sure smelled funny. Mom was even impressed I didn’t mind them.
Size: Puppy under 30lbs.
Car rides: Foster mom is not so sure about car rides. If I am in my kennel or laying in the back, I should be okay. However, when I rode in the front of the car I got car sick. I do love going places with my human though and am working on it. I did ride to MN ALL the way from TX and had no problems then.
Additional info from the foster: Oak is a great puppy! He is so full of love and will make one lucky family really happy! He looks a little rough and has some bare patches, but a little bit of time and love will fix that. He sure is a sweet pup! If you’re looking for a pup that is chill and will cuddle you but still run and play, then Oak is your pup!

You can meet Oak in person on 10/3/2020 at Nokomis Tattoo from 1-3 PM. If you're interested in meeting him, please fill out an adoption application at www.mnpitbull.com
