This adorable girl is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. She is a medium haired, fluffy dog but was recently given a summer haircut.<br/><br/>Nyx came to us after her owner sadly became unhoused. She had been with her family since birth and lived among several other pets, so she is familiar with both dogs and cats.<br/><br/>Since entering rescue, Nyx has moved to a new foster home where she is absolutely thriving. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, she continues to gain confidence every day. Once she realizes she is safe, her fun-loving personality shines through.<br/><br/>Nyx loves toys and enjoys wrestling and playing with other friendly dogs once she knows they are nice. She has also been enjoying daily walks and regular visits to Downtown Dog Enrichment. It typically takes her a few minutes to settle into a new environment, but once she does, she has an absolute ball and loves being part of the action.<br/><br/>Her former owner shared that Nyx has only known her immediate family throughout her life, so she will need a patient adopter willing to give her time to adjust. The reward is well worth itNyx is a sweet, affectionate little love bug who adores being talked to and cuddled. Call her name and you'll be greeted with enthusiastic tail wags and the cutest bashful expression. Her expressive eyes make it easy to see exactly how she's feeling.<br/><br/>Nyx is still very much a puppy at heart and is continuing to improve her potty habits with a consistent schedule and routine. Please note that we do not ship animals. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet.<br/><br/>

<br/>3. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields.

<br/>5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
