Nova's Story
Meet Nova! Your future best friend is just waiting for her confidence to catch up with her heart.

Nova is a 9-month-old Frenchie mix puppy with a gentle soul, an adorable face, and so much potential. She's still getting used to life in her foster home, and every day she becomes a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more convinced that this whole "being a beloved family dog" thing is pretty great.

Nova loves other dogs and takes comfort in having canine friends around. She's also doing well on leash walks and is becoming more confident with every adventure.

She can be shy when meeting new people and may need a little time before deciding you're part of her inner circle. The good news? Treats are an excellent way to fast-track the friendship. Nova is very food motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun bonding experience.

Once she relaxes, Nova's playful puppy personality shines. She loves chasing balls, bouncing around the yard, and discovering that life is full of fun.

Like any growing puppy, Nova is continuing to work on her housetraining and will need a family that's ready to help her build good habits with patience and positive reinforcement.

Nova is the kind of dog who may not race into your arms on day one—but give her a little time, a few treats, and lots of encouragement, and you'll watch her blossom into a loving, loyal companion. Seeing her confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of loving a rescue dog, and Nova is ready to find the family who'll help her shine.

If you are interested in finding out more about Nova, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog

Nova is being fostered in Charlestown, MA.

The adoption fee is $600.

Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!.

Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
