Nova's Story

Meet Nova!
Nova is a beautiful American Bulldog/Bully mix with an adorable squishy face, a wonderfully snuggly personality, and just enough goofy energy to make you smile.
Nova loves being close to her people. She's more than happy to soak up affection and snuggles, but don't mistake her for a total couch potato—this chunky girl still enjoys getting outside and showing off her running skills! She'll happily trot and zoom around for a bit before deciding she's done enough cardio for the day.
She's also got some manners under that adorable exterior! Nova knows sit, down, and shake, takes treats incredibly gently, and is manageable on leash without excessive pulling.
We even gave Nova a bath, and she was a wonderful little spa customer. She allowed us to wash and rinse her, including her feet, without an issue. She's also been comfortable with us handling her ears, mouth, belly, tail, and paws.
After she's gotten her little burst of activity out, Nova is perfectly happy settling back down and getting to the important business: snuggling.
We're still learning how Nova feels about dogs, cats, and children, so those pieces of her story are still to come. What we already know is that she's affectionate, food-motivated, knows some basic commands, and has been wonderfully tolerant of handling.
If your idea of the perfect companion involves a little play, a little training, and a whole lot of cuddling, Nova might be your girl.
