Nova's Story

This is Nova, and she is an absolute stunner! We believe she is a mix between a Catahoula and a pitbull breed of some kind.

She’s a smart and loving girl who gets along with cats and other dogs. She knows her standard commands, and her interests include fetch, walks, belly rubs, and splashing in water. Her dream is to be a lap dog, despite having already grown past that size, and she loves to share the bed with her humans and snore like an old sailor.

In fact, the only issue Nova has currently is that she’s TOO happy…to the point she’s damaging her tail by smacking it on things. This could lead to her tail getting bobbed before adoption, but it won’t impact her overall health.

Due to Nova’s high energy, she does need another dog to play with and a securely-fenced yard. As with all our animals, we are selective with applicants to ensure she ends up in a safe and responsible home.
