While her brothers dive headfirst into chaos, Nova prefers to take things at her own pace. She can be a bit shy at first, especially in new situations, but with patience and a gentle approach, her loving personality blossoms beautifully.<br/><br/>In just a short time, Nova has already come out of her shell-going from unsure and hesitant to happily climbing into laps for affection. She's learned that humans are pretty great, especially when they sit down where she can reach them (she'll give you a polite little jump from behind as your cue!).<br/><br/>Nova is also a smart cookie-she was the first to start learning "sit," and she's not above encouraging her brothers to cooperate if it means treats arrive faster. Independent yet affectionate, playful yet calm, Nova has a quiet wisdom about her.<br/><br/>She'd do wonderfully in a patient, loving home that will continue to build her confidence and celebrate her gentle spirit.<br/><br/>Nova is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Nova is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.<br/><br/>The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.<br/><br/>We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)<br/><br/>Please note, adoption applications are processed within 12 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.<br/><br/>Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).<br/><br/>For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org.
