NOVA's Story

Nova is a sweet young mama that we pulled from Palms N Paws along with her six puppies. There was no way we were going to leave this poor, skinny girl behind.<br/><br/>Shes approximately a year and a half old and is an absolute doll. Her tail has one of the happiest wags you'll ever see!<br/><br/>The name Nova refers to a star that suddenly shines with an incredible burst of brightness and that is exactly who she is!<br/><br/>Her puppies will be weaned in just a few weeks, and then Nova will be available for adoption.<br/><br/>We cant wait for this amazing mama to finally have her chance to be someones baby instead.

Joshua Tree No-Kill Shelter's Adoption Policy
For dog adoption: We prefer a fenced in yard, adequately sized for the size of the dog. A fence check (photos, videos) will be performed before an application is approved. If you do not have a fenced in yard, please submit a detailed exercise plan. If you have other pets, it is a requirement to schedule an interaction to make sure that they get along. For cat adoption: No interactions are required between cats before adoption. We base our decision on approving the adoption after reviewing the questionnaire on the adoption application.
