Nouvel – Sweet & Playful • Dog Friendly • Loyal Companion<br/><br/>Hi, I’m Nouvel. I’m about 2 years old and my foster says I’m one of those dogs that makes people smile without even trying. I’m sweet, affectionate, a little goofy and I love being around my people. I'm ready to find the family that I can call my own<br/><br/>I’m a very people-oriented husky who forms strong bonds with my humans. I like to know where my people are and will happily follow you from room to room just to be nearby. Being close to my family makes me feel safe and happy.<br/><br/>I especially love other dogs. Playing is one of my favorite things and I would be thrilled to have a playful dog sibling, but I could also be happy as long as I get exercise, structure, and attention.<br/><br/>I’m also a big fan of cuddling. I don’t just sit next to you… I lean into you like I belong there.<br/><br/>You might notice my little tongue sometimes peeks out when I’m relaxed or happy or just because. My foster says it’s one of my signature adorable quirks.<br/><br/>The important basics:<br/><br/>✔ Dog friendly and loves to play<br/>✔ House trained<br/>✔ Affectionate and people-oriented<br/>✔ Takes medication easily<br/>✔ Very receptive to training<br/>✔ Typical young husky energy<br/><br/>A day in my foster home:<br/><br/>I start my day with a walk, take my medication like a good boy, spend time playing with my dog friends, and then I’m happy to relax near my people. In the evenings I enjoy more activity followed by cuddle time or just hanging out wherever you are.<br/><br/>Things I’m still learning:<br/><br/>Like many young huskies, I can get excited on leash and sometimes pull because I’m curious about everything. I also occasionally check counters because I remain hopeful snacks might appear.<br/><br/>The important part? I take corrections very well and genuinely want to do the right thing. I’m very receptive to guidance and improve with consistency.<br/><br/>My health:<br/><br/>I do have epilepsy, but it is well managed with medication and I’m doing very well. My condition is stable and my medication routine is simple. I take my medication without fuss and it’s just part of my normal daily life.<br/><br/>I still enjoy playing, cuddling, and being a happy young husky. I don’t let it define me.
