Norman's Story

Norman is a playful, energetic, outgoing, and incredibly handsome 2-year-old Jack Russell mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He truly loves life and everything that comes with it—especially people, dogs, and affection. The only thing he doesn’t love is being kenneled, which causes him significant anxiety. For this reason, we are looking for a home where he will not be kenneled often.Norman adores dogs of all sizes and thrives in social environments. He loves people just as much—especially the ladies—and proudly holds the title of the sanctuary’s best snuggler. He wants to be close to his humans at all times, whether that means sitting beside you, climbing into your lap, or curling up like he’s truly part of the family. As a true Jack Russell, Norman has a lot of energy and no real off switch. He is extraordinarily playful and will need daily physical exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced. He’s not a couch-potato-only kind of dog—but once he gets his zoomies out, he’s more than ready to snuggle up on the couch or in bed with you.Norman is vocal and isn’t afraid to use his voice when he wants something. He can also be a bit mouthy when seeking attention. This is playful communication—not aggression—and he does not bite. However, because this behavior can make some people nervous, we recommend a home without small children unless the adopter is committed to training. Norman does great with kids ages 10 and up.He would do well in almost any home environment, but he must have an active adopter who enjoys walks, playtime, and engagement. Because he absolutely loves other dogs, we would strongly prefer a home with at least one canine companion so he can have friends to play with throughout the day.Norman is loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and truly an all-around amazing dog. If you’re ready for a fun, loving, high-energy companion who will adore you endlessly, apply to meet Norman today.I weigh 28 pounds and My adoption fee is $240 and includes registration of my microchip, a sample of my food, new leash/collar and toy & treat packet. I am neutered and vaccinated.
