Norman's Story

Meet Norman: Your Mystery Mix of 100% Good Boy and 100% ridiculous cuteness!

Norman is a 7-week-old fuzzball with silky-scruffy-curly-longish black fur, a charming white chest (and chin!) splash, and a side of total mystery. Breed guesses so far include miniature schnauzer, cocker spaniel, Scottish terrier, long-haired dachshund, or some sort of doodlely something — basically, Norman is the choose-your-own-adventure of puppies. We know his photos look like they are AI generated, but we promise you, his extraordinary cuteness is the read deal!

Weighing in at a mighty 4 pounds, he looks like he’ll stay on the smaller side, but in rescue, we know never to make promises about that!

Norman was scooped up by a Good Samaritan on a rural SC road, with no owner to be found. Since then, he’s been living his best puppy life with his foster, working hard on potty training (hey, he’s trying!), and figuring out this whole leash-walking business. He’d love a young dog buddy to play with, but since the seniors in his foster home aren’t down for zoomies, he’s happily entertaining himself with toys for now. He does love other dogs and kids, but keep in mind at his age he is still teething so very young kids may not be the best choice for his sharp puppy teeth.

This sweet nugget has had his first vaccines and dewormer. His adoption fee of $200 includes his future neuter and microchip at 4–6 months of age. Fully fenced yard for puppies is required.

Ready to welcome this adorable mystery pup into your heart (and your couch)? Fill out an application on our website (https://www.lancasterspca.net/online-application), and once approved, we’ll set up a meet-and-greet. Norman can’t wait to show off his cuteness in person!

NOTE: We often do not receive the inquiries from PetFinder, so please contact us directly with any questions - Lancspca2.sc@gmail.com
