Norman's Story

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com

Norman is a sweet little Boston Terrier mix who’s under a year old and weighs just 11 pounds. He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time (and a few treats!) and he blossoms into an affectionate, playful boy who loves giving kisses. Because Norman can be a little nervous/easily scared, we recommend only older kids in his home.

Norman gets along great with other dogs and enjoys chasing toys when they’re thrown—playtime is definitely one of his favorite things. He hasn't met cats yet, so those introductions would be new for him. He’s crate trained and currently working on potty training and walking nicely on a leash. The good news? He’s very food motivated, which makes training a fun and positive experience.

This smart pup already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning. Once he feels comfortable, Norman loves being close to his people and soaking up all the affection he can get.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little patience to show his wonderful personality, Norman could be the perfect addition to your home.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.

DOB: 7/18/2025
Adoption Fee: $500
