Meet Nolan

[NOTE: ALL INQUIRIES FOR NOLAN SHOULD GO DIRECTLY TO HIS RESCUER SUE: Email: suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com. We are posting this as a courtesy listing upon her request and For Animals is not directly involved with this adoption or processing.]

How about this face to melt your heart? Nolan is a male 6-month-old Jindo/Shiba Inu mIx who was rescued from Korea.

This sweet, energetic boy with the bi-color coat currently weighs 15 pounds and will weigh approximately 45 to 50 pounds as an adult. He is 80 percent pee-pad trained and will need to continue his crate training. He is fully vaccinated and microchipped. He will need to be neutered in September, so we will not adopt to any home that lives more than 1 hour from New York. Nolan would do best with adopters who have dog experience. He is not cat- or kid-tested yet.

Requirements for Nolan: A two-person family household.
Home with fenced in yard or apartment with no breed or weight restrictions.
Trainers will be required for puppies.
You must live in the NYC area (LI, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens,) NJ and CT 30 miles max from NY.
Please do not inquire if you live farther away. Before sending an application, you must first email us at suekmwdadoptions@gmail.com and provide the following information: Your name, where you live, how many people live in your household, and your dog experience. Thank you so much!

Please Note: If you haven’t heard back from us within twelve to fourteen days after your initial e-mail, please be advised that your application is not under consideration. Due to the large volume of applications, emails, texts and calls we receive, we cannot respond to each person individually when an application is not approved. Applications are also processed on a first-come-first-served basis in the order in which they were received, so your patience is appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.
There are no paid employees at Keep Me Warm Doghouses. All the people who help out are a small group of volunteers who do this along with their regular jobs. We try to respond and process as quickly as we can.
While some of our volunteers are engaged in correspondence, answering questions and reference checks, all final decisions regarding the adoption are taken by the shelter founder/director.
