Nixa

Introducing Nixa, a sweet female GSD who is ready to find her forever family. Nixa is currently with a foster and is doing well but will need a new foster by 19 June. She is doing well at her foster's home, she is curious and gentle. She does jump when excited but is working on that. She walks well on a leash and has good recall in the backyard. She is still learning to trust in this very new environment. Everything is new so having another dog to show her the ropes would be a good fit, but not required. She lived peacefully with 2 other dogs (male and female) and an outdoor cat prior to coming to the rescue. In her current foster home there is an elderly family member, and Nixa routinely checks in with her and gets treats and pets. She is the best girl and is ready to go home to her forever family.
