Meet Nikki

Nikki is an 8 year old, 8 pound Yorkie who recently retired from her long career of motherhood. She has raised many babies for her "breeder" and is now ready to be pampered and cherished. Nikki is very quiet and low energy, loves soft dog beds and likes to be held. Not a big fan of the cold weather and likes her warm sweaters.
Nikki is not leash or house trained. She will need a very patient, calm environment with someone who can provide ongoing training. Due to only having 6 remaining teeth, she does eat kibble softened with warm water or low-sodium chicken broth.
Nikki likes other small dogs and would do best with a canine companion in her forever home....securely fenced yard a firm requirement.
Suggested adoption donation for Nikki is a minimum of $175 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to other geographical areas as long as we can find a local volunteer to perform the courtesy home visit, and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs coming from a commercial breeding background require a securely fenced yard AND a resident dog for a companion, unless stated otherwise in the bio.
