This sweet and happy little gentleman was surrendered when his owner was no longer able to care for him, and now he's ready to find a family that will cherish him for the rest of his life.<br/><br/>Nigel is a social butterfly who genuinely enjoys being around his people. Whether he's following you from room to room, snuggling on the couch, or heading out for a leisurely neighborhood stroll, he's happiest when he's included in the fun. He has previously lived with children, does well with other dogs, and recently met a cat without showing any concern, making him a wonderful candidate for many different family dynamics.<br/><br/>Like any young puppy, Nigel is still learning the ropes. He is crate trained and has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners, although he did have a few accidents while settling into his foster home. With patience, consistency, and a predictable routine, he continues to make great progress.<br/><br/>Nigel enjoys leash walks and would love an active family that will include him in their daily adventures. One thing to know about this little traveler is that he can become motion sick on longer car rides. Thankfully, a dose of Dramamine before extended trips helps keep him comfortable so he can enjoy the journey too.<br/><br/>As a Shih Tzu, Nigel will require regular professional grooming to keep his handsome coat looking and feeling its best.
