Nico - Calm Boy

Nico is located in Ontario and is adoptable there. He is 6 years old and 60 lbs. <br/><br/>Meet Nico! Nice and gentle boy, with a calm but curious demeanor. He is a foxhound who just turned 6 years old. He has a short hair coat. Nico is allergy free and very healthy. Nico has a great time being outside with all family members. All seasons of the year, makes no difference but doesn't like the rain. He enjoys walks but will need some leash work. Due to his short fur, he requires a coat in the cold weather. Nico has a typical hound appetite and is fed twice daily. <br/><br/>Nico is an even-keel hound. He is very focused and is a mid-energy kind of guy. He does well with other dogs but is more of a companion rather than a playmate. He loves his foster Dad and going for car rides with the family is his favourite passtime. <br/><br/>His big beautiful eyes will melt your heart when he watches you to see what you are doing. He enjoys cuddling on the couch with or without the family members. He was very good with children in his previous home. He sleeps on a doggie bed at night and doesn't enjoy the crate. <br/><br/>He is a climber so he will climb up on a chair or window sill if he wants to look outside. Other than climbing on things in order to get a better view, he is never destructive. He is just a nosey boy, curious to know what is happening. <br/><br/>Being a hound, Nico is has a prey drive; no cats. <br/><br/>He is a really nice boy, kind and not a bully. He will make a wonderful new family member for any type of family who includes him in their lives on a daily basis. <br/><br/>Nico is neutered, vaccinated, 4dx tested negative and microchipped.
