Nicholas 's Story

Nick is a ~2-year-old Lab mix with a sweet, playful personality and lots of energy. He loves being around his people and being included in whatever’s going on. He enjoys long walks, fetch, and anything that squeaks. Once he’s had some exercise, he’s happy to relax and hang out with you. Nick is affectionate, goofy, and really shines once he feels comfortable. Nick is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands. He’s smart, eager to learn, and does well with other dogs and appropriate play. Nick would do best in a home without children. He’s a big, enthusiastic guy who doesn’t always realize his size, so a kid-free home will set him up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun companion, Nick could be your guy

Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy
Once we receive a completed application we schedule a Q&A call with the applicant to answer any questions they might have about adopting from us. Then an adoption coordinator is assigned to the applicant and they work with them to decide what dog would be the best fit for their home and lifestyle. Prior to being approved for adoption we complete a vet check and home visit and then finally schedule a meet & greet so they can meet the dog.
