Newton

Newton is a sweet boy who is about 9 months- 1 year and weighs only 32 lbs. He is a special boy who needs a patient and gentle person who has a soft-guiding hand to show him the world. He's lived with many other dogs and he has done well with them, but he is still a bit reserved when meeting new dogs here. We are still getting to know Newton day-by-day as his personality starts to blossom more and more. He most likely will need to be treated as a puppy when it comes to his training and socializing because he didn't get the same beginning as most other dogs. Since he is a herding breed mix, he will also need a home with someone who has experience with them and understands the herding-breed quirks. We are unsure of is history with kids or cats, but we hope he could do well with proper introductions.

He is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
