Newton's Story
Newton is about 18 months old and was found as a stray wandering around a gas station. He was terribly undernourished when he came into rescue, but is getting lots of TLC and great care in his foster home. When getting his first bath in rescue, he turned out to be quite a pack rat!! He had a pinecone, gravel, a straw off a juice box, a "spork" from a fast food place, and a key all in his tail! Newton would do best as an only dog. Has not been tested around cats yet. He absolutely loves kids - and would be an ideal solo family companion. He is very eager to please, and will do well with training. He is very friendly with people and loves attention.
