Newt is a 3 month old Boxer puppy who is ready for his next adventure after being rescued from a hoarding situation with a group of other Boxers. He is everything you would expect of a young Boxer boy: hilarious, loyal, lively and full of puppy shenanigans. He’s only about 20lbs and smaller than he looks in photos - just an adorable little guy! <br/><br/>Like any young puppy, he is still working on his crate training and potty training. He seems to understand he should be going potty outside and does great with routine and watching for his signals that he has to go. He settles easier in a crate when he is ready for a nap, but doesn’t love being without his people quite yet. He is learning he is safe and people will come back for him. His current complaints when you leave would make him better for a home than an apartment with shared walls. He is very social with other pets (dogs and cats)- but wants to PLAY! Tolerant fur friends would appreciate his puppy antics more than others. Children would need to understand he has sharp puppy teeth. <br/><br/>Newt is at the perfect age to continue learning and developing into the wonderful companion we know he can be. His ideal family will understand that puppies require patience, consistency, training, socialization and lots of love. He’s also absolutely handsome, so you better be prepared for people wanting to stop you to say hello. Boxers are the best and Newt is no exception. <br/><br/>Included in his adoption fee is: microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and his neuter scheduled through the rescue.
