Nettie & Maxwell, The chillest youngsters's Story

25 lb bonded siblings Nettie and Maxwell were part of a trio who were picked up by animal control in Houston and placed on euthanasia list as they were extremely scared in the pound.

The siblings were incidentally brought to the same foster home. The siblings found confidence upon seeing each other and soon we realized how bonded the duo was. Separating them is out of the question.

Maxwell and Nettie love stuffies and are good at sharing, all while playing nicely with other dogs. They love to run around their yard and also love to dig. They are a little bit skittish, so they need some patience while they get to know someone.

They are crate trained, potty trained and socialized. Due to their playfulness, having a fenced yard is mandatory, so they can exercise.

As they are a bonded pair, they can only be adopted as a pair, not separately. It wouldn’t be right to separate two dogs who care so deeply for the other, after all.

Nettie and Maxwell are very affectionate and love their foster mom, who think a world of them.

The siblings are 1.5 year old, and weigh about 25 lb. They are fixed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated pup who are kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.

They are only available for adoption in Texas.

To meet this sweet pair, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com

Save Some Souls's Adoption Policy
Once a pet is ready for adoption, we place them online. Potential adopters must fill out our application form, which is mandatory before meeting the pup. Once processed, the potential adopters and fosters are connected to share more info about the pup. After the application is approved for meet and greet, the potential adopters coordinate with rescue to meet the pup. For an in person meet, we require a copy of the drivers license to be sent to us for verification. Out of state adopters are able to do a facetime meet with the pup. After the meet, we take notes from our fosters for final decision. If the foster feels the pup and the adopter are a great match, then we move forward with homecheck. Homechecks are in person or via video apps like whatsapp or zoom or facetime, Once all works out, we send our contract and fee invoice, and schedule pick up of the pup, either in person or via transport, if out of state. All our pets are fixed before they are adopted, no exception. If your application is approved for adoption, but it is not appropriate for the pup you applied for, we would offer you the right match or direct you to a more suitable rescue group who may have the right pups for your lifestyle.
