While some dogs might struggle with those challenges, Nettie simply adapted.<br/><br/>She has learned to navigate the world in her own way and doesn't spend a second feeling sorry for herself. For her safety, she will always need:<br/><br/>A secure leash during outings<br/>A securely fenced yard if off leash<br/>A family committed to visual communication<br/><br/>The good news is that she is exceptionally smart and learns routines very quickly.<br/><br/>Nettie can sometimes overwhelm other dogs with her enthusiasm because she cannot hear their normal communication signals.
