Meet Nella: Your New Playful Companion!** This adorable 2-year-old Norweigan Elkhound/Great Pyr/ Aussie mix is ready to find her forever home. She may have applications in progress, but is currently available. <br/><br/>Nella is full of energy and loves to play, snuggle, and go for walks. She would thrive in a home with fenced yard where she can enjoy her playful nature, and a comfy couch to cozy up with her humans. Nella takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but then shes your best friend. Just as a precaution, we believe older kids would be a better fit. <br/><br/>Nella loves other dogs and would do well with another dog or two. Nella does resource guard her food but as long as she has a space to eat without being bothered, she&#39;ll do great. She currently lives with 2 other dogs. While she enjoys playing with her furry friends it&#39;s important to manage her feeding time to ensure a harmonious meal time. <br/><br/>Nella was adopted as a puppy and was returned 6 months later. During this time, she didn&#39;t learn the initial skills she needed as a puppy and has been working with Stop the Suffering&#39;s trainer learning them now, and is making wonderful progress.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
