Nela's Story

This is a Project Dog!

Meet Nella, a delightful Doodle who is just three years old and is looking for a special someone to help her grow. While she comes with her own set of challenges—primarily her discomfort with barriers—she has the potential to flourish in the right environment with the proper guidance and patience. Nella would thrive best in a home where she is the only pet and where there are no young children, allowing her to feel secure and focus on building a bond with her new family.

Nella's barrier aggression is severe, and she will come with lifetime training to make sure of a safe transition for all. You must be an experienced dog owner dealing with difficult dogs in the past.

Nela is eager to learn and has already mastered many commands, showcasing her desire to please her owner. This sweet girl is incredibly loyal and, once she learns to trust you, she will be a devoted companion. If you are looking for a rewarding project and have the time to dedicate to her development, Nela could be the perfect match for you. Let's help her find the loving home she deserves, where she can truly shine!

Nela's adoption donation is $250 which includes her Vaccines, microchip, and spay.

Hoof and Paw ART's Adoption Policy
Once an animal is deemed adoptable, when a potential adopter expresses interest, we will have them fill out an application. After reviewing it, we will do an interview to vet them. When possible, this will include a face to face with children, other dogs etc.. Then we will typically do a foster to adoption agreement. After a period of time (from a couple of weeks to a few months based on the animal and other factors), we will do a final adoption agreement. In some cases, such as a previous adopter in good standing, we may skip the foster step.
