Neil's Story

Meet Neil! Neil is a seven-year-old lurcher who is being returned through no fault of his own. His Mom is very sad to let him go, but realizes it is what is best for him. Neil will be a wonderful addition to his new family.

If you are looking for a lurcher that doesn’t want to be on your couch or bed, Neil is a great fit for you. He has learned that his beds are more comfortable than yours! He kennels well, and it can be one of his favorite places to spend time, as long as his bed is in there.

Neil is a dream on a leash, and has been described as “walking a butterfly”. His favorite hobbies are car rides and walks, and he loves to be in the same room as his humans. He appreciates having multiple beds, so he can spend time with you while still being comfortable no matter what room you’re in!

No kitties or small dogs for this boy. He just cannot resist the fun chase they offer! Neil is a confident dog, so a non-dominant dog his size as a companion would be best.

Neil is a sweet boy who will be a joy to add to your family.

We primarily adopt across the Midwest, including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, and surrounding states.
