<p>Officially loving this #rescuelife, Nathaniel has already proven to be a champion sleeper and an A++ copilot in the car.<br /><br />He came to us with a mangled foot and a pretty yuck respiratory infection, but with the expert care of his epic team of fosters, he's already feeling better and starting to show us the dog he is destined to be.<br />Soon, he'll meet his foster siblings, and we're pretty sure he's going to LOVE having his very own dog or two to hang with. Austin Bulldog Rescue's Adoption Policy
Austin Bulldog Rescue will consider adoptive families in the Austin, surrounding areas, and the northwest San Antonio area. This is simply due to logistics and distance of travel for our volunteers. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the Bulldog’s background and your family’s needs. Every Bulldog is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a furever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right Bulldog with the right adoptive home, because we want this to be the dog's permanent home. If you are willing to wait for the right rescue to be matched to you, you are an ideal candidate for ABR. As our success rate proves, these precious dogs are well worth the wait. If acquiring a dog is a time sensitive issue for you or your family, rescue may not be for you.
