Narcissa

Meet Narcissa, a lovely 15-pound silver Miniature Schnauzer born July 11, 2021. After spending her early years as a breeder, this sweet girl is ready to experience the life of a beloved family pet.

Narcissa is a gentle, friendly girl who can be quite shy and timid. New people and unfamiliar surroundings can make her a little unsure, so she may need some time to settle in and understand that she is safe. She isnt the type to immediately run up to everyone she meets, but with patience and kindness, she will begin to let her sweet personality shine.

What Narcissa needs most is someone who will allow her to move at her own pace. A quiet, predictable home and a family who understands that trust is earned rather than rushed will give her the best chance to flourish. Watching a shy dog gain confidence and discover how wonderful life can be is incredibly rewarding, and Narcissa deserves that opportunity.

Because she is timid, Narcissa would do best in a home without small children. We are looking for someone who will give this little girl the patience, security, and affection she needs to become the happy, confident companion we know she can be.

Narcissa is also looking for a sponsor to help support her ongoing care while she waits for her forever family. Sponsorships make a huge difference and allow us to continue helping dogs. If you would like to sponsor Narcissa, or any of our foster dogs via a small monthly donation, please reach out to fcsrsponsor@yahoo.com.

If you are interested in adopting Narcissa, please fill out an application at https://www.floridacocker.org/adoptions. Potential adopters must have a verifiable veterinary history and be willing to travel to the Tampa area for adoption if approved. Due to previous experiences, we do not adopt outside of Florida.

ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED. This post will be removed once Narcissa is placed. Please share this post!
