NAOMIDA's Story

NAOMIDA is wonderful with people, children and other dogs. When on leash walks, she gets excited to see other dogs and wants to introduce herself. We don't have photos of them together, but NAOMIDA gets along well with the house cat; when properly introduced to cats, she respects their space. NAOMIDA is a sweet, attentive dog and would make a wonderful complement to a family, she loves morning walks and smelling the flowers or laying at your feet relaxing. Hiking trails are her favorite where she can explore all the wonderful nature smells, it's her element! NAOMIDA benefits from her daily walks and exercise, her time to explore, and is very satisfied hanging around with her family in the evening. <br/><br/>Her person would enjoy the challenge of teaching NAOMIDA to play smart-games, such as hiding something where she can use her nose to "Find It" or figuring out dog puzzles for treats. All Star Fur Pet's Adoption Policy

Potential Adopters are provided an online link or applicants can also request a (pdf) Pre-Adoption detailed questionnaire to be emailed, for manual completion and return. ASFP will ask for a short video of indoor areas where pets are welcome to hang out, have access to the outside yard (terrace, patio, balcony etc), fence perimeter, video of yard and gate. Phone contact is then made to discuss the questionnaire (family acceptance, nutrition, exercise, vetting etc) and a follow up email is sent with comments or recommendations. If acceptable to all concerned, an appointment is made to introduce our furpet to the person. If it is a good fit, we proceed to do a home check. When there are other family dogs, we may ask to do a meet and greet on neutral territory. When all processes are acceptable, a copy of the Adoption Contract is reviewed and established.
