Nan (Granny Smith)'s Story

Hello, my name is Nana.

Well, technically it started with Granny Smith. Then Granny Apple. Then Apple. Nosey Nancy. Nancy. Nan. Nana. Nana Banana...

Honestly, I'll answer to just about anything if you have snacks.

I'm an old gal looking for something pretty simple: a soft place to land and a family who wants to love me for however much time I have left. Maybe that's three months. Maybe it's three years. None of us really know.

What I can promise is that once I decide you're my person, I'm going to be completely obsessed with you. I'll follow you everywhere, keep you company, and make sure you're never lonely again. Personal space is probably overrated anyway.

I'm good with other dogs, although we should probably establish right now that my snacks are MY snacks. Sharing is not one of the life lessons I'm interested in learning at this age.

I love people, but little kids aren't really my speed anymore. I'm looking for a quieter home where life moves a little slower, the beds are soft, the snacks are plentiful, and my people are happy to have an old lady shadowing them from room to room.

I don't need a big adventure, just some sniff walks around the block.

I just need you to make whatever time I have left feel like forever.

And I promise I'll love you right back for every single minute of it.

Fostered in McMinnville, OR

Honestly, I'll answer to just about anything if you have snacks.

And I promise I'll love you right back for every single minute of it.
