Nala~SO MUCH FUN!

Nala is a 4-month-old Catahoula mix who came to us when her family realized they just weren't quite ready for puppy life. And honestly? We get it. Puppies are A LOT! 😂 But this wild and wonderful girl is ready to find a family who is prepared to put in the time and effort to help her become the amazing adult dog she's destined to be.<br/><br/>Nala is VERY smart, energetic, and eager to learn. Her previous family reports that she is crate trained, is working on house training, and already knows sit, stay, and release. She's also great with other dogs! Cats, however, are a different story—she loves to chase them and will need a cat-free home.<br/><br/>Catahoula-type dogs are intelligent, athletic working dogs that tend to thrive when they have a job to do. Nala will need plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation. Training, enrichment, puzzle toys, sniffing activities, and learning new skills will all help keep that busy brain of hers happy. A family looking for a couch potato is probably not the right match for this girl!<br/><br/>And because Nala is still just 4 months old, her new family needs to be ready for the realities of raising a puppy. House training, chewing, teething, socialization, basic obedience, appropriate boundaries, and consistency are all part of the package.
