This gorgeous Akita is tall, active, playful, and just mischievous enough to keep life interesting. When you’re this big, a little shenanigans can go a long way—so her future family should be prepared to keep tempting items out of reach and make sure the kitchen is puppy-proofed. (Akita-proofing may require a little creativity... and possibly removing the stove knobs when you leave the house! ) She can also climb chainlink fencing.

Nala is also sweet, silly, and loves having dog friends to play with. Because she’s such a big, strong girl, she’ll need a family willing to help her polish up her leash skills and manners. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy giant who will keep you laughing, Nala might be your girl!

The adoption fee for dogs is $60. Adoptions include vaccines, microchipping and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please call the St. George Animal Shelter to schedule an appointment. 435.627.4350
