Nala's Story

Beautiful, affectionate, playful, and just a little bit sassy—Nala is a 4 year old Husky/Samoyed mix who is ready to find her forever family!

Nala came to us as an owner surrender after her beloved family’s circumstances changed. From the same litter, her owners raised Nala and her brother (Luca) together since they were puppies. With a new toddler and having to return to the office, the family realized they could no longer give the time and attention they deserved. It was a heartbreaking decision for a family who loved them deeply.

Nala is an absolute sweetheart with her people and is happiest simply hanging out by your side. She has excellent leash manners, knows basic commands, is doing wonderfully with potty training, and loves being groomed. And one of her favorite things? FETCH! A Samoyed who loves to play catch is a pretty special find!

She was raised with children and is wonderful with kids of all ages. She can be playful and energetic, but she's also perfectly happy to relax with her people.

Nala is definitely a queen bee when it comes to other dogs. She can potentially live with another dog, but she needs a calm, respectful canine companion who won't constantly pester her to play.

If you're looking for a beautiful, smart, affectionate companion who will happily walk beside you, play fetch with you, and then settle in at your side, Nala might be your girl!
