Nala's Story

Nala is a beautiful 8 yo Corso/Pit mix. She has not had the best luck with families. She has been in her latest home for four years, however her owner has a job that keeps her away from home for very long periods of time. It wasn’t always like this but it has become stressful for Nala to not have her person around. This is her fourth home and we are now in search of her fifth and final home.

While Nala gets along well with passive dogs, we feel it would be best for her to be an only dog. She is currently living with a dog and a cat and doing fine. The dog, to be fair, is very passive which makes it easy for Nala to be good around him.

For full transparency, Nala prefers to be with her people when they are home. It is best for her to have a family who allow her on the furniture and allow her to sleep in the same room. These things are important to Nala and at her age we feel she should be given what she needs.

Nala also has issues with veterinary care. She must be put under for any exams or medical checkups.

This girl has been a good companion for many years and we have no reason to believe she wouldn’t make the right person a very good companion animal.

Please contact us if you think you may be able to give Nala what she needs in her golden years. As a large dog, she only has a few good years left.

Her adoption fee has been waived for the right home.

Please share her everywhere so she can find a good place to spend her senior years.
