Nail Polish's Story

NP (or Poli) is about 4 months old and was found abandoned on the streets of Detroit, and found her way to the shelter before coming to us.

NP is deaf and mostly blind, but is able to see enough to track pretty well and not run in to walls and furniture when she is doing zoomies (which she LOVES). She will thrive with touch signals. She does well with tolerant dogs and is learning to interupt from play. She would likely do best with at least one other rough and tumble playmate and no super small dogs.

I would prefer to place her in a home without cats, though she would likely be able to co-exist with them with continued work. She is still learning what parts are friend and which parts are toy.

Poli LOVES toys, especially plushies and things she can thrash around. Speaking of thrashing... she is absolutely hilarious to play with and is very exhuberant about tug! Once she has had her fill of fun, she winds down into a very, very sweet snuggler.

NP is available for adoption around South East Michigan.
