Nacho Pit Bull Terrier Yellowknife, NT

Nacho is a five and a half year old pit bull looking for temporary foster or forever home! She is shorter in size and just over 40lbs. She's a sweet, happy girl who who knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, leave it, drop it, wait)and is also crate trained. She often uses her kennel as a den area and can often be found lounging there to relax. She loves to chew her toys but has not chewed furniture or finishings in her previous home.

Nacho grew up around kids and is great with people. She is patient and gentle with children. She has not had any exposure to cats but can be dog reactive so it is best if she is the only dog in the household. She is currently working on her leash training and will be a rockstar with a good leader and positive reinforcement.

During winter months she is a couch potato who loves to cozy up in blankets and snuggle. In the summer, she can regularly be found basking in sunshine whether through a window or sprawling in the yard.

She is a wonderful companion looking for the right person/family to love her and will settle in nicely to the routine of the home.
