Meet Nachito A beautiful soul just waiting for his person.<br/><br/>Nachito joined our PAWs to Prison program a little unsure of the world and carrying small scars that hint at a rough start. Because of that, he can be timid in busy or crowded environments, but underneath it all is a truly special dog ready to bloom with the right person.<br/><br/>This Carolina Dog (also known as an American Dingo) is incredibly loyal once he forms a bond, and when he does, it’s something really meaningful. Nachito may take a little time to warm up, but his trust is worth every second.<br/><br/>He’s got a fun, playful side too! Nachito loves other dogs, has tons of energy, and is athletic and fast — the perfect companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. In open spaces, he walks nicely on leash and really shines. Indoors, his softer side comes out... he loves to cuddle and be close to his person.<br/><br/>Nachito knows commands like sit, lay down, wait, heel, and is potty trained outside of his kennel. Most importantly, he has never shown any aggression — just a sensitive heart learning to feel safe.<br/><br/>Nachito is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the time, love, and reassurance he needs to fully come out of his shell. In return, you’ll gain a deeply loyal, loving companion who will truly be your dog.<br/><br/>He’s not just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person.
