Mystery's Story

Mystery - There are many unknowns about a dog who just appears. But he made his mysterious appearance in the right place and was rescued!!

We think Mystery is between 2-3 years old, perfect age. Over that crazy puppy nonsense but not set in his ways. He's a perfect size too, about 50-pounds.

Mystery is currently with a wonderful foster home in Oklahoma. They are working on his house training and he is doing great! He's crate-trained too. Mystery seems to do fine with the resident cats, as long as they don't run away. When they run, he will chase them but then quit, like it's just a big game. But hey, you can't fault a herding dog for wanting to herd moving living beings. Mystery gets along well with dogs too. And of course, he loves people!

Mystery is active, he is after all, an Australian Shepherd. But he's fine to hang out lounging too. He would LOVE a home that would allow him to play in the water! A pond? Lake? River? At the very least can you provide a bucket for him to sit in??

Mystery is scheduled for transport north from Oklahoma in the coming month. We would like for him to be pre-adopted before he leaves Oklahoma. Won't you be the one to provide him his own swimming spot when he comes north?

Mystery is neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.

If you are interested in adopting Mystery, please fill out the application on our website at: https://www.westernaustralianshepherdrescue.com/adoption-application.html.

We schedule meet n greets after a completed application which includes a home visit and reference checks.
