Myla German Shepherd Dog Chesterfield, MO

Myla is a 2 year old female German Shepherd who was surrendered to the shelter when her owner went into hospice care.

Myla moved to her foster home on 2/27/23. Her four-legged pals include a resident German Shepherd and a cat. Myla’s foster dad describes her a super sweet and affectionate/ He says she always wants to lay right him (or on him!).

Except for an occasional accident Myla is mostly house trained. She is good about letting you know when she needs to go out. Myla gets along with dogs after a slow introduction.

She is learning about the resident cat and will occasionally give chase, but we believe she may be cat workable with the right cat. She leaves the chickens alone.

Myla is working on basic obedience. She sits on command and is working to learn to hold her commands. Her foster dad tells us Myla has a lot of energy.

Myla would love a family who has time to continue working on basic obedience.

Our Adoption Fees:

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $400

* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $350

* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program! Seniors are special to us, so we offer two options:

(1) If your heart has a special place for the seniors, you can adopt a senior dog for the regular adoption fee of $350 and this becomes a perpetual fee. You can adopt another SGSDR senior dog at any time from us in the future at NO CHARGE.
(2) If you aren't sure about your future adoption capacity, you may adopt your SGSDR senior dog for a reduced adoption fee of $250.
