Mya's Story

Mya: Great Dane mix, is about 3 years old.

Mya is bonded with Daisy, please see her profile also, if they could stay together that would be amazing.

They will end up at a shelter soon if we can't find foster or home for them. The shelters in VT are euthanizing now because they are beyond max capacity.

Both pups need new homes at no fault of their own. The family has some things going on and are unable to continue caring for them.

From Mya's owner:

"Mya is so loyal and loving. She is easily frightened and is best with adults in a calm home. She does not like children or people who move quickly. She loves the dog park but we havent been in a while so she may need to be reintroduced to it. Mya sits and waits until shes told ok to eat her food. She has no food aggression or possessiveness. She will try to protect people she loves from things that move fast or shes unsure about.

Both dogs are currently trained to just come when called and are let out together without leashes (small rural neighborhood where we all do this). They absolutely love each other and often choose to sleep in the same crate. Sunbathing is a big favorite for them on the deck during the summer. We crate them at night and they choose to go in there during day too."

*We (PCAR) will have them UTD on vaccines and everything

Please fill out our application:
adoption: https://airtable.com/appcAloWyD1FpAjez/shrATaVWneHa7zot5

Foster: https://airtable.com/appV5pXp3DhFrF6ih/shrx6XhGytB9TIrE6

email us: pawsitiveconnection2023@gmail.com

text is best/call: 802-382-0081
