Murphy in IA's Story

The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
Phone interviews do not take place til after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home

Hi my name is Murphy! I am 8 yrs old and weigh 25.5lbs. I need a new home because my mom and dad got divorced and no one could take me with them. I am being fostered in Cedar Rapids, IA.

I am a big red and white boy who is a cuddle bug, funny, and loving. I love my people, looking out the window and sitting on the couch. I prefer to sleep right next to my human(s) if at all possible.

Things I like: to play outside (especially with humans), watch people work (my foster mom has a remodel going on and the contractors let me watch them all day!), to snuggle on the couch and to sleep in the sun!

I have been to dog camp and am being fostered with 3 other Boston Terriers. I love other dogs! When playing with other dogs I am a gentleman. I have not been around cats and I would recommend children that are a bit older (10ish and older).

Murphy does have allergies. He can be prone to ear infections. He receives a Cytopoint injection every 4-6 weeks and is on a limited ingredient dog food, Natural Balance. He takes an antihistamine once a day. He also has a growth on his back left leg that has been biopsied and came back as benign and does not cause him any issues.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? 90% trained and doing great, uses a doggy door
Leash-trained?
