Muffin

A greeting from Sir Muffin: Hello world! The only and only Muffin here! I am ready to start the next chapter of my life with my forever home! <br/><br/>Look at me. I am 100% bulldog and boy do I live up to the hype. I have the most adorable squishy face and this weird lady that I’m currently living with likes to pinch my squishy face and stroke my velvety soft ears. She says I have the cutest underbite. I don’t know what that means but it’s true. I am cute.<br/><br/>I was brought into rescue because my old family was no longer able to keep me. I grew up without any rules and boundaries so I do need to be with someone who can give me guidance and set boundaries and help me become the bestest boy I was meant to be. I am very very very treat motivated and I like to do whatever it takes to get those precious treats. So far, I know sit, down and I just learned the place command. Now we are working on duration when I’m in place! I do have some bad habits I need to unlearn, like putting my paws on the counter. I can’t really reach anything, but apparently that behavior is frowned upon in this establishment. Like I said, I will need someone who is willing to work with me and train me so that I can be the perfect boy!<br/><br/>I am good with all dogs and I even am good with cats. I currently live with a cat and I give zero “hoots” about him. He seems nice and so I’ll go up to him and give him a few sniffs. I do really good in my kennel. I may bark here and there for a few minutes but it doesn’t last. I love chewing on Benebones while I’m in my kennel and I sleep in there all night and when the people leave the house.<br/><br/>I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life and I’m looking for my happily ever after.<br/><br/>A word from the foster: Muffin (aka Sir Winston Churchill, Chonks, Pugsley) is such a charming (ex-stud) muffin. He is 100% bulldog. When he went in for his neuter, the nice vet also performed a nares surgery (widening abnormally narrow nasal passageways so his breathing is really good). I think Muffin described himself perfectly. <br/><br/>Muffin is very friendly and shows ZERO reactivity to other dogs. He is living with me and I have 4 other dogs. He has been around them for 2 weeks now but I haven’t let them play yet because he still within two weeks of his surgery and has a few days of recovery left. He has “met” all the dogs and wants to play - he does the play bow perfectly. He has such a good temperament and after he learns a few manners, he will be the perfect companion. <br/><br/>Please feel out an application to meet Muffin!
