Meet Mudkip!<br/><br/>Mudkip is a 3-year-old, 64 lb boy who was found roaming near a local church covered in mud. From the moment he arrived at the shelter, he had a friendly attitude.<br/><br/>This handsome guy is easy to get out of his kennel and walks well on leash, especially for his size. He's treat motivated, already knows sit, down and roll over, and would love learning even more.<br/><br/>When it's time to play, Mudkip's favorite activity is splashing around in our kiddie pools. He could spend all day cooling off in the water before happily coming back for some affection. He also appears to be house trained, making a beeline for the grass as soon as he's outside.<br/><br/>Mudkip has shown positive, loose body language around other dogs and enjoys greeting them with happy tail wags. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a friendly, fun-loving companion who's always up for a swim and a cuddle afterward, Mudkip is ready to dive into his next chapter.<br/><br/>As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.<br/><br/>To meet/adopt, visit us in Greensboro, NC from 12-4pm any day except Tuesdays; no appointment needed.
