He is friendly, affectionate, smart and has been an easy puppy in his foster home.<br/><br/>Mud loves people and does great with kids. He regularly spends time with an 8-year-old and loves having a little human friend around. He also LOVES other dogs and would be very happy with a doggy playmate. He plays appropriately and is not overly rough or obnoxious with other dogs.<br/><br/>One of the best things about Mud is that he is not a mouthy puppy. He has great bite inhibition and is generally polite for a puppy his age. He loves toys, enjoys being outside and is always happy to run around with his foster siblings.<br/><br/>Mud is crate trained and actually loves his crate, which his foster mom calls his “house.” He knows that’s where all the good stuff happens and will happily run into his house for meals, treats and stuffed Kongs.<br/><br/>He rides well in the car and is currently working on both housebreaking and learning to walk nicely on a leash. He’s doing well, but he is still a puppy and his new family should expect to continue working on basic puppy training.<br/><br/>At night, Mud sleeps all night cuddled up next to his foster mom in bed. One At A Time K-9 Rescue's Adoption Policy
Fill out a non-obligatory adoption application. A One At A Time K9 Rescue representative reviews application If approved, a team member will contact you for a phone interview. We will contact your veterinarian and/or landlord if applicable so please contact them prior to applying to give permission to release information to us. If we feel the applicant could be a good fit for our dog and all other applications have been reviewed, we will schedule a meet and greet and home visit. We require all household members to be present as everyone must agree with adding a dog to the home. At the time of meet/home visit if appropriate fit, adoption can be finalized at that time by completing an adoption contract and paying the adoption fee. (check or cash) Please note that a scheduled meet and greet does NOT guarantee an adoption. We reserve the right to deny any application without disclosure.
