Hi! I'm Nova. <br/><br/>I'm a joyful 3-year-old hound mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. I may only have three legs, but don't tell me that means I can't keep up! I love exploring new trails, sniffing every interesting scent, playing with dog friends, and ending the day curled up beside my favourite people.<br/><br/>I am currently living with my foster family in Victoria, BC. but I can travel to Vancouver area and Washington or Oregon if there is a potential adopter for me. I already know Sit, Down, Stay, and Come, and I love learning new things—especially if treats or a stuffed Kong are involved! Positive encouragement brings out my very best, and I'm always happy to work alongside my person.<br/><br/>My nose loves an adventure! Two or three walks a day, a hike, a beach trip, or even a car ride to grab a coffee with you are all exciting to me. As long as I'm included, I'm happy!<br/><br/>When the adventure is over, I know how to relax. I love carrying my squeaky toys around, snuggling up near my people, and sleeping peacefully in my cozy crate.<br/><br/>I bond deeply with the people I love and have done well living with another playful dog. With thoughtful introductions, I'd be happy with a compatible canine companion, or I'd be just as content soaking up all the love as your one and only.<br/><br/>Because I'm a hound, I have a strong prey drive, so I'm looking for a cat-free home. An active family that enjoys adventures and continuing my positive training would be my perfect match.<br/><br/>I've already overcome more than most dogs ever should have to, but I don't dwell on the past.
