Depends on my mood.

I can turn into a tiny diva on spa day. I don’t mean to — it just makes me nervous. I tense up. I fuss. I might protest a little. But I promise, I’m manageable. I am pure happiness.

I wake up wagging.
I fall asleep content.
I live every day like it’s a gift.
But outside of that?

I am pure sunshine.

I get along beautifully with other dogs. I wake up happy. I fall asleep content. I bring light into the room just by being there.

I lost my first chapter.

But I didn’t lose my joy.

Now I’m waiting for a family who will laugh at my little quirks, be patient on spa days, and love me for who I am — a bright, affectionate, slightly sassy girl with a heart that just wants to belong.

I’ve already known what it feels like to wait behind kennel bars.

Now I’m ready to wait at the door for you to come home.

I’m Maddy.

And I promise… if you choose me, I will fill your life with warmth, laughter, and love.

Nowruz Animal Rescue Group's Adoption Policy
Our Foster-to-Adopt Process At Nowruz Animal Rescue Group, we follow a foster-to-adopt process to ensure that each pet and family are a perfect match for one another. This approach allows both the dog and the adoptive family to adjust and bond before making a lifelong commitment. Step 1: Application Once a pet is listed for adoption, interested families are invited to fill out an online application form. This form includes: Three personal references The name of the veterinarian who will care for the pet Step 2: Application Review & Phone Chat After reviewing the application, we contact strong candidates for a phone interview. This gives us a chance to get to know the family better and answer any initial questions. Step 3: Home Check If the phone conversation goes well, we arrange a home check to ensure the living environment is safe and suitable for the specific pet. Step 4: Meet & Greet Next, we schedule a meet and greet with the dog and the family—either at the home or a secure, neutral location. One or two meetings may be arranged so everyone, especially the pet, has time to feel comfortable. During this time, we also complete reference checks. Step 5: Foster-to-Adopt Trial If the family decides to move forward, the dog begins a foster-to-adopt trial period. We deliver the pet to their new home along with essentials such as: Collar and leash Food and treats Favorite toys We encourage families to stay in touch throughout the transition. If you need support or guidance, we are just a phone call away.
