Meet Mr. Shilo! He is a one-year-old, 17lb Chihuahua/dachshund mix with a heart of gold. Mr. Shilo came from a difficult situation involving 60 dogs where he often had to compete for food. Fortunately, he was rescued and has been thriving in a wonderful foster home.<br/><br/>In his foster home, Mr. Shilo has learned to love the indoors. While he was initially scared, he has blossomed into a happy energetic dog who enjoys zoomies in the yard, sitting in laps, and receiving belly rubs.<br/><br/>Here are some important details to help you decide if Mr. Shilo is a good fit for your home:<br/><br/>Behavior: He is a bit cautious at first and needs a patient family that will give him time to warm up.<br/><br/>In his foster home Mr Shilo does well with an older bossy female.
