Mr. Moo's Story
Meet Mr. Moo!

Mr. Moo is a handsome 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At just under 50 pounds, he's the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and affectionate cuddle companion.

This happy boy loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Whether he's chasing a tennis ball (or proudly carrying two at once—a trick he taught himself after watching his foster sister!), playing with his favorite toys, or soaking up attention from his humans, Mr. Moo is happiest when he is with the people he loves.

Mr. Moo gets along wonderfully with adults, children, and other dogs of all sizes. He's especially fond of playing with his foster sister, Ruby, and can happily entertain himself or wrestle and play fetch with a canine friend.

He's also a smart, eager-to-please pup! Mr. Moo walks nicely on a leash, knows sit and shake, takes treats gently, and loves learning new things. He would thrive with continued training, enrichment, and an active family who wants a dog to share life's adventures.

Mr. Moo forms strong bonds with his people and loves being included. He is currently most comfortable being crated when left alone and would thrive in a home that can continue building his confidence with a consistent routine and plenty of companionship.

Mr. Moo is potty trained and has been doing great in his foster home since being neutered. Like any dog adjusting to a new environment, he will benefit from a little patience and consistency as he settles into his new routine.

If you are looking for a loyal best friend who will make you laugh, join you on adventures, play until he's happily worn out, and then curl up beside you for snuggles, Mr. Moo may be the perfect match. Apply to meet him today!

Want to see more of Mr. Moo and his personality? This is an adoption application that you can link to right here. https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/11077/generic

An adoption volunteer will look it over to determine who you qualify for and what we need to get you qualified.

Once you meet the puppy or adult that you want to join your family, we will ask you to put a $100 non refundable hold deposit. This holds your puppy/dog while we get you approved. We will require 2 non relative (including fiance, significant other etc.) nor cohabitating references that can speak to your dog experience, proof of home ownership or a landlord letter with any exclusions and a physical home visit looking for safety issues and discussion of any advance questions. We get personal because we want the very best for these survivors, and we're sure that you do too. You may not qualify for all dogs or any dogs. Please speak to a PNH volunteer if you arent sure if you will qualify. 719-500-1880

Once you are approved, we get you set up with your adoption date. Adoptions are online through Dropbox sign and phone or video if you have questions. This is legally binding, so you will want to make sure you have your questions answered before signing. We then finalize you as the i adopter in our Petstablished system, which gives you access to all records, coupons, and literature.
We ask for the additional adoption fee, which varies on age. Then you go get your puppy from the fosters home (this is planned in advance) Additional $400 for puppies under 1 Additional $350 for adults between 1-6 $ Additional $200 for seniors 6+ $250 for behavior challenged dogs needing extensive training, $250 per dog for bonded pairs (total of $500)We will let you know which dogs qualify for which adoption fee.

After adoption, you are required to attend obedience classes with your new puppy at a facility that provides positive only, reward based training. This is at your expense with completion expected in the first 3 months. Adult dogs can receive obedience or behavior training, depending on need. This is at your expense, but.......we refund $100 when you send the certificate of completion!!! ( if you believe fear or force based training methods are the way to go, we are not the right fit for you and will not approve an adoption) shock collars including underground fencing, prong collars, leash whips, etc are all very counter intuitive when asking your new best friend to be the goodest boy or girl possible. Ask us how you can learn more about positive only training. Pawhoofcolorado@gmail.com
