Mr. Miagi (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Thank you for your cooperation.<br/>NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION<br/><br/>NEW INTAKE 8/13/2026: Mr. Miagi - male - approx 8 years old - 21.12 pounds - Silky Terrier<br/><br/>Reason for intake: Mr. Miagi came in with Karate Kid from animal control.<br/>These poor boys must have LIVED in belly bands. Karate Kid, because he's younger, does not have the urine burns that Mr. Miagi has... but they both have burns. It's terrible! We're not sure what was going on with the owner for them to neglect to change the bands, but we hope they are getting help now that the dogs are removed. Neither dog is neutered and they'll both be going to the vet the week of 8/17/2026 for neutering and everything else they need! I'm sure just the removal of the bands feels amazing to them! Belly bands are a great tool IF used properly!<br/><br/>NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note... we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
