If another dog is being dominant, I would much rather back away than fight. I’m a lover, not a fighter.<br/><br/>I do best with calm, respectful dogs and would be happiest in a home where I don’t have to worry about being pushed around.<br/><br/>I’m also not a fan of little children. They can be unpredictable and a little overwhelming for a small guy like me, so if there are kids in my forever home, I would prefer them to be teenagers, 15 or older.<br/><br/>But cats?<br/><br/>They might actually be okay with me!<br/><br/>I don’t bark at cats, and if a cat stands its ground instead of running away, I don’t chase it. In fact, sometimes I’m the one who seems a little intimidated!<br/><br/>With a proper introduction and a little time, I may be quite happy sharing my home with a confident kitty.<br/><br/>What I’m Like<br/><br/>I’m a very affectionate little guy.<br/><br/>I’m completely comfortable being touched and handled anywhere on my body, and I enjoy attention from my people.<br/><br/>I also have excellent house manners. I’m fully house and potty trained, and I don’t destroy things when I’m left alone.<br/><br/>I don’t bark when my people leave the house, either.<br/><br/>Now, when you ARE home, that’s another story.<br/><br/>Why are you all the way over there when I’m right here?!<br/><br/>If you’re in another room or not sitting close enough to me, I may bark to remind you that I am available for companionship.<br/><br/>I’m not trying to be difficult.
