Mr. Bojangles

Mr Bojangles keeps coming to adoption events hoping someone will give him a chance. Bojangles came to us several months ago running the highways of SC an almost hairless but tangled emaciated mess with eyes sealed closed from chronic dry eye and a massive bleeding tumor under his rectum and the grossest teeth hanging out. Thousand of dollars later and months of care this guy is healed, groomed, housebroken crate and leash trained. Bojangles will always need two eye ointments and he’s not fond of getting it done either, but he does enjoy a good bath and lets you scrub out his eyes and that’s the easiest way to get those drops in fast. He’s quiet and mostly sleeps like this. Good with all dogs and cats. He is so easy to have around. You can just leave him in an xpen while you work and he feels comfortable like that. His eyes have given him limited vision so he startles easily when trying to pick him up so you just have to talk to him first. Theres is no fee for Mr Bojangles. We just want a nice comfortable living arrangement for him. He’s most likely got many good years left in him as he loves to eat!
